Stray Dog Bites Over 10 People In 2 Days At Gomoa

A stray dog has bitten 13 persons in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region, specifically at Gomoa Dominase, within two days.

The incident has caused local community members concern and alarm.

Eight victims are presently undergoing treatment and have been admitted to the Potsin Polyclinic and Buduatta Health Centre.

Fortunately, five others have already been treated and discharged, indicating that the severity of the dog wounds varies.

During interviews conducted by our news team, some of the victims who have been treated and released described the dog attack that left them injured.

The interviews cast light on the terrifying encounters they endured and the injuries they subsequently sustained.

Bennie Mossulenu, assembly member for Gomoa Dominase Electoral Area, revealed an intriguing fact amidst this distressing situation.

He disclosed that dog breeding at Gomoa Dominance has been forbidden for the past 400 years.
