Three Automobiles Are Impounded Following The Capture Of Three Raill Track Thieves.

Two suspects have been apprehended in connection with some allegedly stolen Ghana Railway Development Authority rail tracks and steel sleepers that have gone viral on social media.

The suspects Ibrahim John and Bashiru Ibrahim were apprehended while conveying the aforementioned items to the Tema yard of Ferro Frabrik Ltd.

According to the suspects, the Ministry of Railway Development has contracted their company to transport the exhibit items to Tema.

Officials of the company who were not met on company property have been instructed to report to the police tomorrow morning in order to assist with the investigation.

The Ministry of Railway Development has also been contacted, and officials from the Ministry are anticipated to report to the police tomorrow, 2 May 2023, in support of the investigation.

As the investigation continues, three DAF vehicles GN 8501 – 15, GT 4705 -15, and GT 6707 -15 that were being used to transport the items have been impounded and parked at the National Police Training School due to their size.
