Two Criminals Beaten To Death At Ahanta West

Two individuals were lynched in Beaho, Ahanta West Municipal District, Western Region, for the alleged theft of a mobile phone.

Sunday at approximately 8:00 a.m., two members of a three-person ring allegedly seized a smart phone.

When the victim noticed his phone was missing, their luck ran out. The suspect attempted to escape the scene when confronted.

Two of the suspects, however, were swiftly apprehended by the enraged youth and subjected to hours of torture.

The Assembly member for the Beaho electoral district, Kenneth Obeng, confirmed the news by stating that the victims were killed by stones and masonry.

The third suspect was eventually apprehended, and one of his hands was severed.

He managed to escape with his wounded hand and is currently at large.

According to eyewitnesses who spoke with News team, the area is a crime hotspot; therefore, criminals who are apprehended are punished severely.
