Two Dead After Gory Accident On Accra-Kumasi Highway

A gruesome accident on the highway between Kumasi and Accra reportedly claimed two lives.

Two trailers collided on the interstate, killing both victims instantly, according to witnesses.


In One of the vehicles with the license plate number GW 1567-11 was documented on video by a witness, whereas the other vehicle's number was destroyed after the collision.

The tragedy occurred on the Kumasi-Accra road near Engleshie on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at approximately 5:30 p.m.

Speaking with OTEC News' Assembly Member for Breman Electoral Area Hon. Obour Sika stated that one of the two trailers had a punctured tire, causing the collision.

After the accident, he observed, it took passing travelers to extricate the mangled bodies of the deceased driver and his companion from the damaged vehicle.
