VGMA 2023 : I Will Organise A Party For My Boys If I Even Lose - Black Sherif

Mohammed Ismail Sharif, professionally known as Black Sherif, a Ghanaian musician, has revealed how he will react when the winners of the 24th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) are announced on May 6, 2023 at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Center (AICC).

The artist, who appears unconcerned about the competition, explained that there will be a victor in every competition.

Whether or not he appears to be the lucky winner on Saturday's award ceremony, he will never neglect to express gratitude to everyone who voted for him to win the prestigious Best Artiste of the Year award.

Black Sherif aka Blacko is nominated for nine awards, including Best Artist of the Year, Best Hiphop/ Highlife Artist of the Year, Best Afropop Song of the Year, Best Music Video, Album/EP of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Best Reggae/Dancehall Song, and Vodafone Most Popular Song of the Year.

In an interview with , Black Sherif expressed his anticipation for the upcoming award ceremony by stating, "We will walk onto the stage, accept the award, and thank each and every individual. After Thanksgiving, we will return home and gather all the rastas for a special celebration. The following morning, we'll return to making music, film a video, and advance the project forward."

Black Sherif, who confronts stiff competition from other artists in his category, including Piesie Esther and Stonebwoy, was confident that the scheme would recognize his efforts.

Speaking specifically about how he may feel if he loses the competition for Best Artiste of the Year, he stated, "We will stand up and go home. Thanksgiving will be celebrated with the rastas. The following morning, we will create new music, film a video, and continue on with our lives."
