Many believe it is time for the event's administrators to take their choice of hosts more seriously, as their quality has steadily declined over the years.

Concerns have been raised regarding the male presenter, as actor James Gardiner appears to be inadequate for the position.

The audience of this year's awards program believes that former host Chris Attoh has left a void that has yet to be filled, and they want something to be done about it.

Chris Attoh has hosted three VGMAs. He served as host in 2011, 2012, and 2016.
