WATCH : GSA Staff Collapse And Die During Fight With Manager

Some Ghana Standard Authority (GSA) employees, primarily subordinate staff, wore red and black attire on April 26 following the passing of a colleague.

According to reports compiled by our news team, a member of the IT department collapsed during an altercation with the director of administration.

Despite being transported to the hospital, a diagnosis of stroke was made, and he passed away three days later.

The incident reportedly occurred on Tuesday, March 7, and the funeral is scheduled for Saturday, April 29.

The agitated employees are demanding results from the investigation into their colleague's death.

They drummed and danced on the property to draw management's attention to the incident, which has been ongoing for more than a month.

John Sampan, deputy general secretary of the Public Service Workers Union, told Media General's Richard Bright Addo that the workers had written to management, but only a CEO-led durbar had been held in response

They believe that regardless of what transpired, management has created a frivolous case and is not addressing the root cause.
