WATCH : IGP Dampare Storms Tamale In The Night, Interacts With Residents

On Sunday (May 28) night, the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, stormed the Central Business District of Tamale to interact with residents who had congregated along the street.

When the our news team arrived in the main town at 22:30 GMT, there were crowds of people lining the street from the NEDCo office area to the Access Bank area, with a heavy police presence.

We observed the IGP, accompanied by some of his lieutenants, interacting with the people and inquiring about their perceptions of Police operations in Tamale and what the Police should do to strengthen collaboration with them to promote law and order.

The IGP's presence attracted a large crowd, and some individuals were delighted to see him interacting with pedestrians along the street.
