WATCH : Kofi Adoma Nwawani Finally Back On Air After Several Months Of Being Absent

The ABN Director of News had been on leave since August 2022, when he was nearly killed by armed men while driving home.

On Tuesday, May 9, 2023, renowned broadcaster Kofi Adoma Nwanwani resumed his duties on Angel 102.9FM and Angel TV.

Today, on the Anpa Bfo morning program, the Director of News for the Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) announced his return to work.

His first significant program will be hosting the weekday evening newscast '3-Some' from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

Recall that the acting CEO of ABN, Vincent Opare, stated that one of his top priorities was to ensure that one of the network's most beloved presenters, Kofi Adoma Nwanwani, returned to work as soon as feasible.

Mr. Opare told the co-host of the Anopa Bofo morning show, Nana Yaa Brefo, on Monday, March 20 when he appeared on the program, "For Kofi Adoma, I am certain that we will see his face on air again in no time."

Mr. Adoma had been on administrative leave since August 2022, when he was nearly killed by unidentified assailants while traveling home on the Agbogba-Kwabenya road in the Ga East Municipality.

Prior to the incident, the ABN Director of News also hosted the Anopa Bofo morning program on Angel 102.9 FM, which is also broadcast live on Angel TV.
