Woman Sent Out Of Church For Wearing Earrings

Even though I was required to adhere to certain doctrines when I was younger, I have come to query some of them because the Bible does not support them.

I am especially intrigued as to where the Bible expressly prohibits wearing earrings. My parents are devout Christians, and they did not allow me to wear jewelry or even have my ears pierced.

However, I wanted to wear earrings one day, so I placed on a magnetic earring and left the house. Later that day, I attended a church event to which a friend had invited me, but I was asked to remove my earrings or leave.

I am not attempting to disparage Christianity; not all churches treat visitors as I was treated that day; in fact, I was astonished at how I was treated. I am explicitly curious as to where in the Bible God condemns earrings.

I acknowledge that every church has its own doctrines, but some churches continue to use their doctrines to evaluate Christians from other churches. Are piercings a transgression, or do some Church doctrines prohibit them? There is no verse in the Bible that condemns wearing earrings. If you know of any, please specify
