Yaw Dabo Trolled For Lying About His Age During An Interview In Spain

Ghanaian actor Yaw Dabo is trending globally after being interviewed by a journalist in Spain following the first leg of the Champions League semi-final between Real Madrid and Manchester City.

Vinicius Jnr and Kevin De Bruyne scored for their respective teams in the match played at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, which ended 1-1.

The trending moment, however, occurred after the game, when Yaw Dabo was interviewed by the Spanish media company Marca on its live program following the game.

Dabo was ebullient as he proudly displayed his support for Real Marid.

He stated that they have the superior team and will win the second leg at the Etihad to advance to the UEFA Champions League final.

The journalist who interviewed him was startled by his excessive enthusiasm and asked him his age, assuming he was a child.

Dabo responded, "I'm 24 years old!"

The video got viral on Twitter, not only in Ghana but also on Marca's page.

Yaw Dabo was ridiculed by Ghanaian social media users for misrepresenting his age to an international audience.
