You've Roamed For 6 Years But Haven't Provided A Single Policy Directive - Napo Blasts Mahama

Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, Member of Parliament for Mahyia South, has observed that John Dramani Mahama has traversed Ghana for six (6) years without outlining a single policy directive he intends to implement if re-elected.

He finds it shocking that after ascending the political hierarchy, John Dramani Mahama is only known for "Dumsor" and other scandals that occurred under his watch.

NAPO, which is advocating for three months of campaigning in Ghana's political calendar, argues that political parties should be prohibited from campaigning immediately after elections in order to give the newly elected President ample time to administer the country.

"The country must be covered by the elected President and he must be given the hand to demonstrate that he is governing, not people going everywhere and in six years not demonstrating a single policy direction he will pursue." In an interview with Accra-based Asaase Radio, he stated that the current government has not provided any policy direction for the past six to fourteen years, during which it has been in power.

Even though Free SHS is not my vision, I am honored to have led it as NAPO. That is the President's vision, and I led it, and we achieved it," he said, implying that the NDC and John Dramani Mahama have had no vision for the country over the years and have only sought power without direction.

He indicated that the people of Ghana will be given a choice between two individuals who have lived in the Jubilee House and will be able to elect one based on his vision for the country.

According to him, however, Ghanaians will continue to vote for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) because it is the superior option and the political party that has provided the people of Ghana with policy directives that have transformed the nation.
