22-Year-Old Man Beheads Grandfather And Stepmother At Okorase

Alex Tengeh, who is 22 years old, killed his grandfather and stepmother in Okorase, which is in the Abuakwa North Municipality in the Eastern Region. The police in Koforidua caught him after he killed them.

It's not clear what made Alex Tengeh do what he did, but residents say he doesn't have any mental health problems. In his statement to the police, he said that someone gave him a weed candy before he did something bad.

Eyewitnesses say that at 9 p.m. on Thursday, the 22-year-old was seen strangling a young woman with his bare hands just a few meters from their home.

When the young woman's father, Kofi Amponsah, heard his daughter screaming, he rushed to her aid and convinced her to file a police report.

Tengeh left the scene and went to his own house, where his father wasn't there. He attacked his grandfather in bed and cut off his head. Later, when his stepmother came to help his grandfather, he chased her and then killed her with a knife.
