5 Suicide Attempts Because Of What My Family Did To My German Lover - Lady Reveals

Ghanaian Edith Afua Donkor, who now resides in Germany, stated that family pressure after her parents disapproved of her German partner (now husband) caused her to experience sadness.

In an interview with DJ Nyaami for Daily Hustle International, Edith disclosed that she made five suicide attempts as a result of heavy pressure from her family after they rejected his proposal. The German, according to Edith, was everything she desired even if her family believed he was too old for their daughter.

I was fine with my husband, but we had a hard time with my family. My father first approved of him, but then changed his mind since he believed I was too young for him, according to others.

As a result, my spouse and I did not speak for about nine months. There was too much family pressure. For a long, I didn't hear from my father. I really wanted to end it all, so I tried to commit suicide five times, she admitted.

In order to get the love of her life, Edith said she would have to work harder. Even though her father was still opposed, she went through with the wedding.
