8 people arrested by the Police in connection with Enchi Killing

At least eight people have been arrested in connection with the deaths in Enchi, which were caused by a fight over who was the chief. Four people were killed.

A few days after the event, four of the eight suspects were caught. At Enchi, the police have also caught the other four.

A Brief History

In Enchi, in the Aowin Municipality of the Western North Eegion, there was a fight over who was the chief. Four people were shot and killed.

The thing happened early on the morning of November 6, 2022.

It happened after an unknown group of people from the community, thought to be Beyeeman Tano Kwao Benbuin II, the Paramount Chief of the Aowin Traditional Area, tried to attack him.

Investigation

Since the crime took place, the police in the Western North Region have been looking into it. But according to sources, at least eight people have been arrested as part of the police investigation.

Four of the suspects who were arrested on December 6, 2022, will have to stay in jail for two weeks. This decision was made by the Sehwi Juaboso magistrate court, which is led by His Lordship Samuel Entee.
