Actor reveals why he was away from the movie scene

Chidi Mokeme said that he was dealing with Bell's Palsy, which is why he didn't show up to the movie scene.

The experienced actor said that his illness made one side of his face sag.

During an interview on Channels TV's Rubbin' Minds, he said, "It comes on like a stroke. It affects one side of your face and makes it droop."

He also said that the doctor had told him that it can't be cured.

"The doctor said it could not be cured. They couldn't find a way to stop it because they didn't know what caused it "he said.

So, he had to leave the movie scene to focus on his business while he tried to get better.

Bell's Palsy is a disease that makes the muscles on one side of the face suddenly weak. Most of the time, the weakness is temporary and gets much better over a few weeks. Bell's palsy could be caused by a reaction to a virus. Rarely does it happen more than once.
