Actress Sues Social Media User For Defamation

It looks like actress Habiba Sinare has taken legal action against someone named Saajida Shiraz for making defamatory statements about her on social media.

Apparently, Shiraz claimed to be a relative of Sinare's ex-husband and made some pretty outrageous accusations against the actress. She even went as far as to insult Sinare's personal life and career during a TV interview.

In response, Sinare has filed a writ alleging that Shiraz's actions were an intentional effort to damage her reputation and make her a target for cyberbullying. According to some reports, Sinare is seeking GH₵‎5 million in damages and other forms of legal relief.
