Afia Schwar recounts how she returned broke from South Africa after 18 years (Video)

Controversial Afia Schwar, a comedian from Ghana, has transported her audience back in time to the day she initially came in Ghana after spending 18 years nonstop in South Africa.

Afia Schwar said in a self-produced video that she spent more than half of her youth in South Africa before leaving empty-handed for Ghana.

Schwar recalled that despite the widespread belief that she was wealthy in Ghana, she had no land, a car, a house, or any other valuables there.

She worked hard and saved money to buy all of her current properties in Ghana.

Afia Schwar encouraged young people in Ghana to start something modest here rather than saving money to migrate overseas in quest of greener pastures in the video.

Because Schwar boasted that she was already wealthy before meeting Delay during her dispute with the TV show presenter, social media users who saw this video were able to identify the inaccuracies in her claim.

She denied rumors that Delay had provided for her clothing and food when she first came in Ghana after spending 18 years in South Africa.
