Akufo-Addo Promised to Use ‘Anas Principle’ Without ‘Knowing’ Anas – Ken Agyapong

Kennedy Agyapong, a member of parliament (MP) for Assin Central, has explained President Akufo-Addo's commitment to employ the Anas principle in battling corruption by claiming that it was made inadvertently.

The Assin Central MP asserts that despite promising to follow the "Anas Principle," the then-candidate Akufo-Addo did not fully understand Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

The Assin Central MP is shown in a viral Adom TV Badwam video yelling aggressively at the Ace Investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas for being a criminal blackmailer.

When did Akufo-Addo say he would apply the Anas Principle? Because he didn't know Anas well, I believe President Akufo-Addo said what he did. His fellow panellist Allotey Jacobs received a response from Kennedy Agyapong.

To show the Chief of Staff and the President the type of blackmailers we are dealing with, he said, I will carry the evidence to them to Watch.

The renowned investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas was dealt a severe setback in court when the Accra High Court dismissed the defamation lawsuit he had filed against Kennedy Agyapong because of these comments.

Anas sought GH$25,000,000 in damages, but the court ruled on March 15, 2023, that the claim is without merit.

The judge, Judge Eric Baah, agreed with Mr. Agyapong's claims that Anas is a blackmailer and an extortionist.
