American Musician plans on relocating to Ghana and acquiring citizenship

Renowned American gospel singer, Ron Kenoly, has revealed his intention to naturalize as a Ghanaian citizen and acquire a residence permit in Ghana.

Kenoly made this announcement during his performance at the 25th edition of Harvest Praise in Accra, where he was the special guest. Speaking to 3 Entertainment, Kenoly expressed his desire to become a Ghanaian citizen, stating that he has been filling out forms and documents to obtain residency in the country.

He described Ghana as a welcoming nation that is receptive to people who have experienced the Diaspora. Kenoly first visited Ghana in 1997 and has since traced his ancestry to Elmina in the Central Region.

He has returned to Ghana multiple times, including performances at the Adom Praiz concert in 2011 and the African worship with Sonnie Badu in 2013. Known for his timeless gospel hits such as ‘Be Glorified’, ‘Ancient of Days’, and ‘Anointing Fall on Me’, Kenoly believes that relocating to Ghana will enable him to reconnect with his ancestral roots.
