Armed robber thanks victim after robbing him in Ashanti Region

Nuhu Soale, who was robbed last Friday between Miminaso Number 2 and Nyamebekyere on the Ejura Nkoranza road in the Ashanti Region, has told what happened. A police officer was killed in the robbery.

He said that after taking everything from him, the thief thanked him for following their instructions.

He told what had happened. "On Friday, November 25, 2022, between 7 and 8 p.m., I crashed into a robbery in progress on the road between Ejura and Nkoranza. Between Nyamebekyere and Mininaso No2, this took place.

With a touch light, one of the thieves told me to stop. At first, I thought it was a policeman. He said hello and asked where I was going. He then asked me where I was coming from, and I told him. He then asked what was in my bag, and I told him that it had a phone and some papers. Then he first took my phone, then went to my pockets and wallet. I took everything out of my wallet and gave it to him. He thanked me.

He led me to a place where other people were lying down and told me to lie down gently, which I did.

I would have said they were the nicest highway robbers so far if they hadn't killed a police officer after finding his ID cards and another victim.

The thing that saved me the most was that I didn't bother to look into his face because I knew it would be dangerous. This may have been the reason why some other victims were cut with cutlasses and another was hit in the neck with a stick.
