Ashaiman Soldier Killed Over Cracked Iphone 6

According to information obtained by DGN Online, the iPhone 6 is to blame for the death of 22-year-old soldier Imoro Sherrif, who was killed in Taifa, a suburb of Ashaiman in the Greater Accra Region.

According to sources who spoke to DGN Online, the two main suspects are accused of killing the GAF soldier for his iPhone.

One of the attackers allegedly stabbed him when he struggled and tried to defend himself.

The young soldier was left in a pool of blood until he died, while the suspects stole the iPhone6, which was broken during the struggle, and fled the scene.

On 11 March 2023, the police reported that they had arrested the two main suspects in the terrible crime.

They were being prepared for trial.

But the police have also arrested three other suspects in connection with the incident and are assisting them in their investigation.

The three were individuals who bought and sold phones in the community.

To aid the investigation and prosecution, the police were able to locate and recover the phone.

According to DGN Online sources, the phone was found on a motorist near the Ashaiman flyover early Sunday morning.

The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr George Akuffo Dampare, who has shown such a keen interest in the case by spending the night in Ashaiman on the day the main suspects were arrested, was present when the accused were questioned at the police headquarters in Accra.

On 4 March, Imoro Sherrif was brutally murdered.

On 9 March, Imoro Sherrif was buried at the Burma Camp military cemetery in Accra.

Last Tuesday, the military high command gave the go-ahead for an intelligence-led hunt for the killers.
