Ato Forson was criminally reckless in ambulance transaction – Attorney General

Minority Leader Dr Cassiel Ato Forson was "criminally negligent" in the ambulance deal, according to Attorney General Godfred Yeboah Dame.

The former Deputy Finance Minister should be invited to defend himself, Mr Dame argued at the Accra High Court.

Dr Forson is accused of intentionally causing financial loss to the state.

Businessman Richard Jakpa and former Chief Director of the Ministry of Health, Sylvester Anemana, are two others accused of breaching the Public Procurement Act and willful misapplication of public property, among other charges.
