The interesting news came from the man of God on January 25, 2023, when he was leading a prayer for Ghana's troubled economy at the Perez Dome branch.

He said, "In Genesis 47:15, it says: 'And when money ran out in both Egypt and Canaan, all the Egyptians went to Joseph.'"

During the prayer time, Archbishop Charles Agyinasare shared a story from his own life and said, "I'm going to say something, but don't be political about it. I'm not talking politics; I'm talking Ghana".

"We are living in a similar time when our money is failing, if it hasn't already, because our banks can't even pay people's bonds, which were supposed to be risk-free."

"I'm going to give you my personal testimony: I have an investment with a certain financial institution, a bank, and I've done it for a long time. It's worth about GHS106,000, and I said, "I'm taking my money." They told me that they would pay me GHS1,000 each week. That means it will take me 106 weeks to get the GHS106,000. He told me

He also said, "When I told them they should do something, they told me, 'It's because of you, Archbishop. Some people come to our bank and cry because of you.'"

"We are reorganizing our debt, and it will take some people 30 years to get their money back. And, so, I'm not talking politics, I'm talking reality".

Archbishop Charles Agyinasare said, "When people in Egypt ran out of money, they went to Joseph. Joseph is a symbol of Jesus, so you and I are going to pray to the Lord because of what is going on. Very soon, people will lose their jobs because companies who have money with financial institutions but can't take the money and can't pay their staff will have to let them go, if the Lord doesn't step in. So, don't think about politics this time, think about Ghana and think about what I'm talking about. He said.
