Bawumia who allegedly killed lover and informant leads Police to crime scene

Investigators have taken Kwame Adama Bawumia, who is accused of killing his lover Ama Kobre and an informant Abudulla Yakubu at Sefwi Agyaponkrom in the Western North Region, to the scene of the crime.

At the scene of the incident, the suspect, Kwame Adama, reportedly told the police that he killed Abudulla Yakubu for personal reasons and not because Abudulla was helping the police find him for killing his lover.

The issue, according to Bawumia, is that Abudulla is the manager of a cocoa field in Agyapongkrom.

He claimed that Abdulla was spreading rumours about him to Siedu, the man who bought his cocoa farm from him.

He claimed that he had used six cutlasses to block the road leading to Abudulla's village, before taking the man to a cocoa farm next to the blocked road.

He showed the police the cutlass he used to kill Abudulla, as well as the many places he stayed while evading capture.
