Beautiful Scene As Lovers Hit All-Black Wedding Theme

A Nigerian couple is going against the long-standing tradition of a white wedding by wearing all black to their ceremony.

Mr. and Mrs. Moses-Scounty, the young couple, said in a Facebook post that they want to change the story and show the world that black is an interesting color.


Black has been linked to doom, mourning, and bad luck in some conservative cultures, but the couple thinks this is a mistake.

The bride looked great in her simple black ball gown, and the groom wore an Agbada with black and white embroidery instead of a suit.

The bridesmaids also looked great in their black dresses with red headpieces, and the groomsmen wore black and white Agbada that were very similar.

Also, the wedding, which took place on a Wednesday, did not have a reception.
