Benzema Might Play Against Argentina In The Final Due To This Loophole

Karim Benzema is available for the World Cup final between France and Argentina, and he could play on Sunday.

The Real Madrid star couldn't play in the tournament because he hurt his left thigh before it started.

But because of an amazing loophole, he could come back to the team without having kicked a ball in Qatar.

After getting hurt just days before France's first game, Benzema was given three weeks to get back to full health.

Marca, a Spanish newspaper, says that he came back on time and has been training well since last Saturday.

He was never replaced on the French team, so Didier Deschamps could call him back in a surprise move if they need him.

But if Benzema played against Argentina, Olivier Giroud, who has been France's best player at this World Cup, would have to be benched.

He has scored four goals for his team, including the game-winning goal against England in the quarter-finals.

The forward who used to play for Arsenal and Chelsea has been in good shape, and it looks like he will start against Argentina on Sunday.

But Deschamps seems to have the star forward waiting in the wings. The 34-year-old scored an incredible 44 goals in all competitions last season, which earned him the prestigious Ballon d'Or for the first time in his career.

So that he can play in the final, he has scored six goals in all competitions this season.

During the group stage, though, Deschamps tried to put an end to rumors that Benzema could come back.

The France coach said earlier in the tournament, "I'm not thinking about it right now." "I talked to Benzema after he left the training camp.

"I'll let you decide if you want to talk about it. I haven't even thought about it."

Deschamps was asked about it again after his team made it to the final, but he didn't want to say much.

He told reporters, "Sorry, I don't really want to answer that question."

Will Benzema play against Argentina for France? Keep an eye on this.
