Bishop Daniel Raped Me Twice & Sent Me GH¢130 To Treat Myself – Assistant Pastor

A 23-year-old assistant pastor testified in court on Tuesday, claiming that Bishop Daniel Oluwafeyiropo, also known as Feyi Daniel, raped her twice. She recounted that she had become a member of 1 Reign Christian Ministry, founded by the bishop, after attending a church programme in 2018.

She was later promoted to an assistant pastor position, and regarded the bishop as her spiritual father. However, the bishop allegedly raped her in his residence in Ikota Villa Estate, Lekki, Lagos State on June 21, 2020.

She pleaded with him to leave her alone but he threatened her, so she stayed in the guest room till the following day. The bishop did not allow her to leave the house after the first rape, so she acted stupid for her safety. But on June 23, 2020, he raped her again and threatened her once more. The bishop denied the allegations. The assistant pastor also revealed that the bishop sent her N5,000 (GH¢130) to treat herself after the incident.
