Brazil legend Adriano ‘splits from wife after just 24 days of marriage as he cancels plans to watch World Cup’

The couple had a fast-paced relationship before getting married quietly. They posted photos of themselves signing official papers on Instagram.

But Extra Globo, a Brazilian news site, says the couple has split up only a few weeks after getting married.

They say that the couple had planned to have a small party with family and close friends this weekend, but it didn't happen.

Adriano and Mesquita may have had a fight after he went to see friends in Penha, south Brazil, to watch the national team play Switzerland in the World Cup.

Only last month did they confirm that they had signed the papers to get married.

Extra says that he came back home two days later and got into a fight with Mesquita about where he had been.

People say that they no longer follow each other on social media, and Mesquita's account doesn't have any pictures of the ex-footballer.

The two have been together on and off, and this is just the most recent of Adriano's many public relationships.



At the beginning of last year, the ex-forward dated medical student Ceu Oliveira for a short time.

Between dating Oliveira, a fitness fanatic, and getting back together with Micaela, he had a short fling with an 18-year-old girl named Bia Miranda.

During his career, the father of three was thought to be one of the best players in the world.

During the 2000s, he played for Inter Milan for a few years and scored a number of great goals.

He was also part of Brazil's exciting "magic quarter" before the 2006 World Cup, which included stars like Kaka, Ronaldinho, and Ronaldo.
