Check Out Propaganda Messages Of John Mahama Listed By Dr. Bonsu

Dr. Osei Bonsu, a university lecturer, has advised former President John Mahama to stop his propaganda strategy and start researching before commenting on topics.

During an interview on the Wontumi Morning Show, Dr. Bonsu listed the promise to scrap ex-gratia payments as one of the “propaganda” talks that Ghanaians should not trust.

According to Dr. Bonsu, ex-gratia is an individual's money that the state puts aside, and it is impossible for the payment to be scrapped.

He further explained that Mr. Mahama's campaign messages are now based on speaking without research. Dr. Bonsu also mentioned that Mr. Mahama's criticism of the free SHS programme initiated by President Akufo-Addo is another reason why Ghanaians should not buy into his messages.

Dr. Bonsu pointed out that Mr. Mahama has contradicted himself by criticizing the programme and claiming that the government has invested too much in it, yet he promised to extend the policy to private SHS. Lastly, Dr. Bonsu accused Mr.

Mahama of sending mixed signals about the state of Ghana's economy. When he is outside the country, he claims that COVID-19 has had a devastating effect on all economies, but when he is in Ghana, he blames the mismanagement for the country's economic challenges.
