Coach stabbed to death after being caught ‘chopping’ a married woman

A hospital worker named Gift Kalibeti, who worked at Mulanje District Hospital and was also a coach for the FOMU football club, was stabbed to death in the district after he was caught having a sexual relationship with a married woman.

From what we know, the person who died had a sexual relationship with one of Shem Wisdom's wives, and that relationship had been going on for a while.


Last week, Wisdom took his wife's phone and heard what the two lovers were talking about.

Wisdom pretended to be his wife last night and got Kalibeti to come to the house by saying that the husband was out of town.

Kalibeti ran to the house, but Wisdom was there to greet him. She beat him badly and then killed him with a knife.

Sergeant Innocent Moses, a spokesman for the Mulanje Police, confirmed the news in an interview with the press.

Moses says that the suspect has since been caught.

Wisdom will soon go to court to answer for murder.
