The scene was recorded at Cynthia Amankwah Gyamfi, Borga Silvia's older sister, who was buried in Kumasi.

On social media, a video of Kumawood actors Borga Silvia and Nana Ama McBrown kissing passionately has gone viral.

The film was recorded during the burial ceremonies of Borga Silvia's elder sister, which took place on January 28, 2023, in Kumasi.

Borga Silva greeted The Empress as she entered the funeral grounds while dressed in all-black clothes. Borga Silva kissed Mrs. McBrown Mensah on the lips and then pulled her into an embrace.

Later, they had a close hug before McBrown left Borga Silvia's section.

This gesture has been the talk on social media with some saying it is morally wrong and not part of our culture. Others think it is normal as they showed sisterly love.

On Thursday, December 15, 2022, following the one-week observance ceremony in Kumasi, the late Cynthia Amankwah Gyamfi's funeral rites were conducted. She passed away that same year.
