Dating Without Fornicating Makes It Easier To Walk Away After Break Up

Solomon Buchi, a relationship and marriage counsellor, has advised unmarried couples about engaging in sexual activity before marriage.

In a recent tweet, he suggested that couples who do not engage in sexual activity before marriage find it easier to move on after a break-up.

Buchi explained that learning to experience intimacy without sex before marriage is crucial, as marriage may involve periods of minimal or no sexual activity. He expressed concern about how couples who rely solely on sex to maintain intimacy would cope during these periods. Buchi stressed that marriage is about much more than sex, and that it is important to honour one's body and cultivate a strong emotional connection with one's partner.

The counsellor encouraged couples to date without engaging in sexual activity, noting that this would allow them to keep a clear head and avoid the emotional fog that can result from sexual activity.

He also emphasised the importance of abstaining from premarital sex as it can have negative mental, physical and emotional consequences.

In conclusion, Buchi advised dating couples to abstain from premarital sex and focus on building a strong emotional bond that will serve as the foundation for a successful marriage.
