Dazzling Gowns & Dapper Suits: A Look Into the State Banquet for Vice President Kamala Harris

Distinguished individuals from Ghana's political, business, and entertainment spheres gathered at the Jubilee house on March 27, 2023, to pay tribute to Vice President Kamala Harris at a state banquet.

The event was a delight for fashion enthusiasts, as Ghanaian celebrities and dignitaries pulled off stunning looks. Vice President Harris herself was resplendent in a beautiful white gown complemented by an elegant cape and a golden clutch purse. The President of Ghana was equally sharp in a black suit and pointed shoes.

Ghanaian millionaire Dr Osei Kwame Despite looked dashing in his bespoke two-piece kaftan, which he paired with a pair of his expensive shoes and sunglasses.

Dr Ernest Ofori Sarpong, a top business executive, looked suave in a matching short-sleeved ensemble with shiny embellishments as he mingled with other high-ranking guests.

Ghanaian music icons Amakye Dede, Efya, and Wiyaala were the event's highlights. Amakye Dede's legendary performance was complemented by his white long-sleeve kaftan, while Efya stunned in an off-shoulder thigh-high dress that showcased her beauty and vocal talent.

Wiyaala, a musician and entrepreneur, left guests awestruck with her energetic performance and northern kente outfit, which gave her an ethereal look. All in all, the event was a magnificent showcase of Ghana's fashion and cultural heritage.
