Dede Ayew Should Stay In Qatar - Serwaa Amihere Reacts Penalty Miss

The forward for the Black Stars had a chance to put his team ahead, but he couldn't beat the goalkeeper. Soon after, the Black Stars gave up a goal.

Andre Ayew is getting more hate from fans after he missed a penalty for Ghana against Uruguay on Friday.

The Black Stars got a penalty kick after Jordan Ayew cut inside and shot from outside the box, but Uruguay goalkeeper Sergio Rochet blocked his shot.

In the process, Rochet took down Mohammed Kudus, and a VAR check confirmed that Ghana should get a penalty.

But Rochet had no trouble stopping Ayew's weak conversion in the 21st minute. Fans were reminded of a similar mistake that Ghana made in 2010 that cost them a spot in the semi-finals.

Then, Asamoah Gyan couldn't score from the penalty spot, and Uruguay moved on after a penalty shootout after the game.

Since then, Gyan has been the one getting hurt, but fans now say he can rest after Ayew's bad goal.

Gh One TV presenter, Serwaa Amiher, sharing her disappointment has asked the Ghanaian player to stay in Qatar. "Dede Ayew should stay in Qatar," she tweeted. In another tweet, she added that "Are you kidding me? He looked too relaxed for that penalty".
