Delay shocks Chairman Wontumi at his mother’s funeral

Wontumi, the Ashanti Regional NPP Chairman, experienced the loss of his mother, Elizabeth Boampong Nyamekye, in November 2022. After four months of mourning, his mother was finally laid to rest, and many notable Ghanaians came to support the politician during this difficult time.

One of the prominent figures who joined in the mourning was Delay, who travelled all the way from Accra to Kuntenase, located in the Bosomtwe district, to pay her respects to her boss. In a video shared on YouTube, Delay could be seen standing in a queue to greet people at the funeral.

During the event, she hugged Appiah Stadium and Diana Asamoah before proceeding to greet Maame Ode, who was performing at the funeral.

Eventually, Delay met with Chairman Wontumi, and he warmly embraced her while shouting "high tension," a phrase that the presenter often uses to describe herself.
