Deserting disaster-bound ship of Akufo-Addo doesn't exonerate you from the mess - Mahama to Alan

John Mahama, the country's former president, said that "some members of the Akufo-Addo government have realized that their boat is headed for disaster" and are leaving.

"It must be a relief for those who are leaving the ship, but it's so late," the National Democratic Congress candidate for 2020 said in a tweet.

He said, "It's almost pointless."

He said, "They'll try hard not to be part of the mess we're in, but let's not forget the parts they all played."

Alan Kyerematen recently quit as Trades Minister and then said he wanted to be the leader of the ruling New Patriotic Party.

The Agriculture Minister Owusu Afriyie Akoto, who also wants to be president, also resigned to push his ambition.
