Disturbing Crime: 27-year-old Man defiles 13-year-old girl on a bench

A distressing incident occurred in Choice, near Kasoa in the Awutu Senya East District of the Central Region, involving a 27-year-old man and a 13-year-old girl. According to reports by GHPage, the man is accused of sexually assaulting the young girl.

Here's what happened: The suspect approached the victim's mother to purchase a meal consisting of Gari and Beans ("Gobe"), but he was unable to pay because he didn't have any physical cash on him. Consequently, he requested that the girl accompany him to withdraw money from his mobile money (Momo) account. Sadly, unbeknownst to the innocent girl, he had sinister intentions.

The suspect led the girl to his residence, where he allegedly locked the door. He then proceeded to apply cream to his genitals, covered the girl's mouth, and engaged in sexual activity with her on a bench. The incident became even more disturbing when the girl started bleeding from her vagina. In an attempt to stop the bleeding, the suspect inserted a toilet roll into the girl's vagina. Subsequently, the man fled the scene, evading capture.

The girl's well-being was severely affected by the assault. A medical examination revealed significant damage to her vagina, rendering her unable to walk. Initially, she received treatment at the Weija Government Hospital but has since been transferred to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital for further care and support.

The incident has been reported to the Weija Police Station, and an investigation is underway. Authorities have launched a manhunt to apprehend the suspect, who is currently on the run.
