Ex-Wife Wanted For Child Abduction And Contempt Of Court

A man is still looking for his 8-year-old son, who went missing on July 23 with his ex-wife.

After his ex-wife Miriam Ziramba disappeared with their son, Precious Nemutambwe has given up on ever finding him.

Ziramba is now wanted for breaking the law because on September 20, Justice Neville Wamambo issued a provisional order saying that she couldn't leave the country with the child. This was done under case number HC5780/22 with reference number HC:3029/22.

She did not follow the court order, so she is now wanted for contempt of court and stealing a child.

"I'm worried now that all my efforts seem to be going nowhere. She had 10 days to do what the law said, but she has never shown up.

"I don't know what to do now because I'm out of ideas and it looks like she changed her phone number.

"I thought she would bring the child when the court told her to, but I've heard she might be in Cape Town or Canada.

"It means she left the country illegally or by paying off officials, since all entry points were told to look for her," Precious said.
