Facebook Dating Scammers And Kidnappers

The Delta State Police Command recently caught three people, Cornelius Ememah (male), Nelson Aghogho (male), and Ufuoma Tunde (female), who are accused of using Facebook to find young girls to kidnap and hold for ransom.

DSP Bright Edafe, who is in charge of public relations for the Delta State Police Command, shared a picture of the suspects and said that one of the people they robbed recognized them and told the police.

The top police officer says that the suspect has allegedly done similar things to more than 20 young girls.

Edafe posted on his official social media page that they had been arrested: "Cornelius Ememah, Nelson Aghogho, and Ufuoma Tunde are the three suspects who have been caught by the Command. They chat with and lure girls they don't know through Facebook, then hold them hostage, threaten to kill them, and demand a lot of money from their parents before setting them free."

"They were caught at Ufuoma in the Ughelli North Local Government Area when one of their victims saw them and told the police. The suspect who is a woman meets the victims and takes them to the hotel where they usually do this evil thing. They've done this to more than 20 young girls so far."

The police officer did warn people to be careful, though, because there are a lot of bad things happening out there.
