Fake lifestyle pushing Ghanaian ladies into sex for money - renowned pastor

According to the Reverend Dr Daniel Owusu Asiamah of the Church of Christ, peer pressure forces the majority of women into prostitution.

He notes that they do it to sustain their false lifestyles, which include buying expensive clothes and hairstyles to give the impression that they come from wealthy families, when in fact they are poor.

When asked why they have to go through this, the outspoken missionary and preacher claimed they do it to show their peers that they have moved up in status.

"Young women without money are obsessed with designer clothes. Guys will offer you money after they sleep with you in exchange for maintaining such a lifestyle. It's just another form of prostitution, isn't it? You have degraded yourselves and do not want to hear the word of God.”

He insisted that while the Bible promotes productivity, women have chosen to be lazy and refuse to work instead of wanting the most expensive goods in exchange for sex.

"Buy something of value for your life. The government should prioritise free technical and vocational education so that the teeming youth can find jobs. This is what has contributed to the growth of the Chinese economy,” he stressed.
