Friendship On A Time Bomb As Dumelo And Nuamah Battle It Out In NDC Primaries

Best friends and Ghanaian actors John Dumelo and Fred Nuamah are about to fall out over politics?

John Dumelo has made it official that he will contest the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency in the NDC primaries.

“After an extensive consultation with my God, my family and our party faithfuls in Ayawaso West Wuogon! This’s the second coming. #Still IDey4you,” he wrote on his Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Four years ago, Dumelo ran on the NDC ticket and lost narrowly to Lydia Alhassan of the NPP.

If he wants to run for the NDC again, he will have to go through Fred Nuamah, who is his best friend.

Nuamah is also the NDC parliamentary candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon. He was Dumelo's best man at his wedding.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is expected to hold its presidential and parliamentary primaries on Saturday, 13 May 2023, to select a presidential candidate and parliamentary candidates for the 2024 elections.
