Gabrielle Union allegedly cheated on her ex-husband because he was broke, she paid the bills

Gabrielle Union, an actress and author who has won awards, got a divorce from her first husband, NFL player Chris Howard, in 2006.

According to Daily Loud, the actress said that she cheated because she was the only one who could support her family. This was in addition to Chris's cheating, which she felt she had to keep up with.

“A part of it was like keeping up with his activities, like, ‘oh, that’s what you are doing you are going to feel this one. I just felt entitled to do it as well. I was paying all the bills, I was working my a*s off and I felt like that’s what comes, the spoil of riches,” she said as quoted by the publication. 

Union said she wished she had felt more regret when she got married the first time.
Union said, "I wish I felt worse about some of that." "It was such a stupid relationship that it should have never gotten past the dating stage."
After going through what she did with Howard, Union started dating Wade around 2008. Wade and Union have been together for a long time and got married in 2014. Even though Union said mean things about Howard, the former NFL running back said he supported her relationship with Wade.
