Ghanaian footballer Daniel Amartey buys car for man who bought him ‘Ice Kenkey’ over 10 years ago

Ghanaian footballer Daniel Amartey received a brand new Toyota Vitz from a compassionate man who helped him more than ten years ago.

The recipient was a local coach who noticed the young footballer was hungry and gave him some mashed potatoes.
People online responded to a video of the car presentation uploaded to YouTube by sports journalist Saddick Adams.

A compassionate man who helped him more than ten years ago was given a brand new Toyota Vitz by Ghanaian footballer Daniel Amartey.

According to reports, the prize was given to a local coach who was developing skills in the area, including Amartey.

During one of these training sessions, Amartey admitted he was extremely hungry and the sympathetic coach gave the young athlete some mashed kenkey.

The player remembered the man's generosity years later when he was a young footballer.

According to Ghanaian sports journalist Saddick Adams, nicknamed Sports Obama, speaking on Angel Sports, the Leicester City defender gave the man the registered whip and papers through former Ghanaian footballer Awudu Issaka.
