Ghanaian ‘investors’ unhappy with Afena-Gyan after late goal against Napoli

Since he scored a late goal against Napoli, Felix Afena-Gyan has lost favor with Ghanaian "investors."

In the 87th minute of Cremonese's Coppa Italia game against Napoli, the young Ghanaian player came off the bench to score. Afena-Gyan then scored the winning penalty kick, sending Cremonese to the quarterfinals with a famous win.

The young person is having a hard time. He didn't get off to a good start when he moved to Cremonese from AS Roma. Because of this, the Black Stars left him off their World Cup team, even though he was a key part of their qualification.

He had only scored once this season before Tuesday. Late in the game, he scored his second goal with a well-placed header that saved Cremonese. In extra time, Cremonese had a player sent off, but they kept fighting to force penalty shootouts. Afena-Gyan calmly made the club's last penalty kick to win the game.

Afena-Gyan went on Twitter to celebrate Cremonese's win at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, but some Ghanaians attacked him instead of giving him praise.

The Ghanaians, who bet and are called "investors," had bet on Napoli to beat Cremonese, and they would have won if Afena-Gyan hadn't scored a late goal.
