Ghanaian men now doing liposuction for six packs – Plastic Surgeon reveals

A plastic surgeon at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital said that men are now asking for procedures to make their bodies look better.

Dr. Nii Ayi Ankrah says that men are not afraid to ask for cosmetic surgery on different parts of their bodies.

On the first episode of The Doreen Avio Show, which aired on Saturday, the doctor said that one of the most popular surgeries has to do with what are called "man boobs."

"Men sometimes have what we call "men boobs" or "man boobs." Different things can cause this, but it is something we sometimes have to deal with. He told Doreen Avio, "Some do come for liposuction."


In Ghana, women are more concerned with improving their bodies, but the doctor said that men are becoming more and more interested in the same things.

He also said, "There are different kinds of cosmetic procedures for everything from the hair to the toes. On the outside, you could handle it."

Dr. Ankrah also said that some men do ask for liposuction to get rid of fat in certain places on their bodies.

He didn't say how it was done, but he did confirm that some men have had surgery to get six-pack abs.

Again, he said that people can get different kinds of cosmetic procedures, depending on what they need.

Dr. Ankrah thinks that some people have mental problems that make them feel bad about their bodies. He said that these kinds of people need extra care and shouldn't be dealt with like everyone else.

He did warn people who were thinking about getting procedures to change their bodies that the results might not be exactly what they were hoping for.
