Good Face: Disciples of Despite shouting to gain face favor – Afia Pokua fires McBrown’s attackers

Afia Pokuaa, a veteran media personality better known as Vim Lady, has hit hard on some employees of Despite Media and criticised Nana Ama McBrown for joining Media General.

Nana Ama McBrown, an actress and media personality, has joined Media General as announced in the early hours of Tuesday. She received a royal welcome at the media facility.

Some presenters used their platforms to criticise the actress after she officially left Despite Media, branding her ungrateful.

Afia Pokua, a staff of Despite Media has come out to criticise her colleagues for disparaging Nana Ama McBrown.

She claims that although Nana Ama McBrown's media appearances do not cause the owners of Despite Media any problems, it is their "disciples" who are shouting and dragging the actress to gain favour from their bosses.

She wrote; “A job is a contract to exchange SKILLS/TALENT for SALARY. Nobody is doing anyone any favor by employing them. A contract too can be repudiated or abrogated at any time. The same way, me, Abeiku Santana, Kofi Kum Bilson and Obiyaa left Multimedia to join Despite Media, someone can leave and join another company. It’s just a job. The OWNERS OF DESPITE MEDIA are okay with McBrown but the disciples are always shouting to gain favor from the bosses. Did McBrown not increase our viewership too? Or did you give her the acting talent too?
