How 2 Ladies With Their Babies Showed Up At The Engagement Ceremony Of Their Babies' Father

During a recent Sunday Worship Service at the Mountain Of Fire And Miracle Ministries, Dr Daniel Olukoya, the General Overseer, spoke about the importance of having a pure heart and avoiding a wayside heart.

He explained that a wayside heart is like a roadside house, always open for unwanted visitors. People who cannot reach their destination while travelling often dump their luggage in the roadside house, and the owner of the house keeps all these loads because he is the closest person around. Therefore, we should strive to avoid having a wayside heart.

Dr Olukoya shared a story about a lady who brought a man to his office in 1995, saying that he was the man she wished to marry. However, when the man stood in front of him, Dr Olukoya heard loud disco music in his ears, and he asked the man to step out. He then asked the lady if she had prayed about her decision, and she said yes. When he asked if God had told her to marry the man, she also said yes. However, he still told her to pray again.

Dr Olukoya explained that when a prophet or a man of God tells you to pray again, it is because they sense that you are heading in the wrong direction. However, the lady did not listen and went ahead with the marriage. On the day of the engagement ceremony, two ladies showed up with babies, claiming that the man getting married was the father. He had impregnated both of them at the same time, and they had brought their babies to the ceremony to prevent him from marrying anyone else. The lady who had consulted Dr Olukoya started crying and said that he had warned her, but she had a wayside heart and did not listen.

In summary, Dr Olukoya emphasized the need for purity of heart and urged his congregation to avoid having a wayside heart. He also cautioned against disregarding the counsel of prophets and men of God, urging his listeners to always seek God's guidance before making any major decisions in their lives.
