How I Lost My Husband To My Younger Sister - Lady Narrates

The mother of three told TUKO.co.ke's Yvonne Kawira that she grew up in terrible poverty and never got a good education because she didn't have enough money.

She talks about how a man she met on the street when she was younger became her friend, got her pregnant over a few months, and then stopped talking to her.

Agness had no one else to look up to, so she started selling fruit on the side of the road to save just enough money to buy clothes for her baby when she gave birth.

"He pretended to agree with me, but when I needed him the most, he left me. I had my baby on the floor of my grandmother's house when it was time "she thought back.

Agnes said that she had to go back to selling fruit on the street when her baby was only a few weeks old because she didn't have enough money to take care of him or her.

"I met a man who was very interested in me in this way. He would always make sure to buy something from me. He told me he did it for my child, so I believed him. Then, since he wanted to marry me, he suggested that we move in together, and I agreed."

Agnes says that her husband was fine at first, but soon after that he made her have his child if she wanted to stay in his house. She agreed, and they had a baby.

But when she got pregnant, he started to change and treat her older child differently. He would clearly favor one of them, but she kept going.

"When I was expecting my last child, I asked my younger sister to come help me take care of my kids. She said yes, but I didn't know that my husband would start to like her. Soon after my sister moved out and also got pregnant,"

Agnes didn't know that this was her husband's child, so when her sister gave birth, she went to see her. When Agnes heard her sister's baby crying, she decided to take care of it.

Agnes was shocked to find her husband in his boxers on her sister's bed when she went into her sister's room.

"I was so surprised that I fell. When I got back to my senses, he was gone. I asked my sister about the affair, and she told me that it started in my house. When I got home, I found that my husband had packed up everything but our clothes and left "She told a story.

Agnes now lives with a kind person who is taking care of her until she figures out how to take care of her kids on her own.

She also said, "I have no one to turn to."
