How My Boss Killed His Wife Over Infidelity Claims

Kasarani Sub County police are probing the death of a lady whose husband beat her while she was hospitalized.

After her husband beat her in the head on Sunday, December 4, 2022, Florence Kaari, 29, died in the hospital.

Ms Ruth Kaimenyi, the family's housekeeper, said the drunk guy asked where the wife was.

“I told him that she had not arrived, and she instructed me to go out of the house as he warned me that I will know that we were living in his house,” Ms Kaimenyi told the police.

The housekeeper stated Ms Kaari arrived 30 minutes after she was kicked out with a companion she only knew as Ms Gakii.

She questioned why she was outside, and Ms. Kaimenyi (the housekeeper) explained.

Ms. Kaari ignored the warnings to the home help and knocked on the door.

She didn't know her husband was waiting, and when he answered the door, they fought.

Ms Kaimenyi (home help) and Ms Gakii (friend of the deceased) tried to stop the fight, but the man became violent and abused them.

The two were outside listening to the noise when the door flew open and one of the sleeping children ran to them.

The child said the mother was bleeding from a head injury.

The suspect said Ms Gakii was a prostitute and the reason his wife was late.

After the man was overcome, Ms Kaari was brought to the hospital and died early Monday morning.

The spouse, who is in police detention, informed his in-laws that their relative had taken poison after learning of her death.

The Kasarani Police Station police chief told Nairobi News that DCI investigators had processed the scene.

“They also arrested the suspect who was taken from Githurai 44 police station and is currently held at Kasarani Police station,” said Mr. Anthony Mbogo.
